Finca Llucaseldentet - Son Bou

Finca Llucaseldentet, is a magical rural house for those discerning travellers who are passionate about country living, yet, who don’t want to renounce their „holiday“ commodities, and in the case of this beautiful finca, the white fine beach and turquoise waters of Son Bou is only a few minutes’ drive away.

The finca is snuggled in a cluster of beautifully kept country houses, so neighbours there are but privacy is still a premium. Its own private tarmac driveway to the Alaior-Son Bou road is a perfect distance, not too close nor too far and reinforcing a tranquillity of stay.

The neighbouring resort of Son Bou, is perhaps Menorca’s best tourist resort, where millionaire villas rub shoulders with pretty garden apartments. The resort itself is a thriving summer area, with bars, restaurants, souvenir shops, supermarkets, private medical centre and pharmacy. Also, within a 3km distance from the finca you have the university town of Alaior, which is also home to some well known dairy industries, shoe factories and has a good „local“ ambiance.

The finca has been sensitively restored and retains all the elements of a typical rural house complimented with today’s modern conveniences.

There are four bedrooms in total; On the ground floor there is a master bedroom ensuite with a double bed and a twin bedroom with two single beds.

On the first floor there is a grand master bedroom with a double bed, a private lounge area with seating and a bedroom with a trundle bed, that is a bed that has a pull out bed beneath.
There are three elegant bathrooms, two on the ground floor and one on the first floor. 2

The fascinating upper tower is a reading or music area, and on three sides you have views; to the west „Monte Toro“, the islands highest point; to the north, the typical whitewashed buildings of Alaior town and to the south east you have the sea and country views.

The cosy ground floor lounge area has a wood burning stove and comfortable furnishings to watch the Satellite TV or a DVD. Leading from this room you have a lovely traditional farmhouse kitchen and dining area.
The kitchen has an electric hob and electric oven, a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and all the utensils and crockery necessary to please. For those farmhouse meals, you can decide to eat around the kitchen table or outside under the grand front porch.
The washing machine is located outside.

The lovingly cared for grounds synchronize perfectly with the natural surrounding landscape, there is a furnished 9 x 5 meter pool area, a pergola area and grounds with a BBQ, ideal for those private celebrations.

The finca has radiators in all the rooms, thus allowing a warm welcome on those cooler days and nights, but air conditioning has not been installed because its high and open location eases the flow of the summer breezes.
